Blog Post LinkingHere is the problem and the solution.
About 50 to 60 percent of achieving high rankings these days in the major search engines is based on links to a website. But the situation on links has not remained stable. For example, it used to be that cross-links between two websites (called “reciprocal links”) used to be useful in improving rankings. The search engines figured that one out and substantially dropped the ranking value of reciprocal links. One-way links to a website are still a good way to improve rankings (at the moment). Now there is another potential risk. One-way links tend to come from link pages, where the whole page is nothing but links, or from link sections of a web page, where that whole section of the web page is nothing but links. The problem is that these groupings of links are relatively easy to filter out because they do not look like normal information in a website. If the search engine’s spiders were changed to look for these groupings, they could easily give these links lower value or no value in the ranking process. The search engines already can filter out reciprocal links. This means that all of the links to a website could be partially or completely devalued and that your rankings are at risk.
If you understand this risk, the only smart thing to do is to go in a different direction to protect your website’s rankings. It is not wise to wait until the standard links are devalued before finding links that are more secure. Blog posts are perfect links, if you are seeking quantities of links that are highly valued by the major search engines. (A blog is a user-generated website where entries are made in journal style and displayed in reverse chronological order. A blog post is an individual comment in a blog.)
Blog posts are superior to standard links from a website because:
Search engines give the highest rankings to links that come from within the main text of a website. It is very difficult to create any quantity of links from within the main text of a website. Website owners don’t mind the minimal effort needed to add your link to their link page, but putting a link from within the text of their website is a lot more work and would probably hurt the readability of their website. Therefore, it is not going to happen very often. What you need is a solution that enables you to easily add as many links as your website needs, that are highly valued by the search engines.
A link from a link page or link section of a web page is not coming from within the text of the website, it is just one in a long list of links. Blog posts, on the other hand, are not grouped together. Since blog posts are all text and each blog post is its own whole page, blog posts are given the same ranking value as a link from within the main text of a website, which means excellent rankings.
Each blog post has a title. The title may or may not include the keyword that is being promoted, but it will normally be related to the keyword. For example, the keyword might be “valentine flowers” and the blog post title is “online flowers”. Since each blog post is on its own page, the title of the blog post is seen by the search engines as the page title (called the title tag). The major search engines all give a lot of ranking value to title tags. Normally, the title tag of a link page has nothing to do with the any particular keyword that you are trying to get highly ranked. Therefore, blog posts normally have much better title tags than links on a link page and normally achieve higher rankings. They are simply more powerful for rankings.
Blog posts are superior to links from directories because:
A link from a directory is not coming from within the text of the website, it is just one in a long list of links (like a link page). In addition, the search engines know that many directories sell their links, so the search engines know that these types of links are not really the same quality as the links from within the main text of a website and therefore give the directory links lower ranking value. Since blog posts are all text and each blog post is its own whole page, blog posts are given the same ranking value as a link from within the main text of a website, which means excellent rankings.
Conclusion
So, the fact is that blog posts are simply superior to the links that you can get from websites and directories. And, using our new system, there is an unlimited number of blog posting links that are available to improve your rankings.
Question – How many blog posts will I need for my website?
Answer – That will depend on your keywords. If you will provide me with your list of keywords, I will do the analysis and tell you how many blog posts you will need to improve your rankings.
Question – How long will it take for my rankings to improve?
Answer – You should see the initial improvements in your rankings within 4 or 6 weeks after we get your order and your web release. It is important to continue to add new blog posts each month because search engine ranking is like a popularity contest. The major search engines give higher rankings to websites with new links each month (which show that your website is still popular). If you stop adding new links each month, the search engines think that you are losing popularity and they downgrade your website’s rankings.
In addition, your blog post links from the first month will mature around the sixth month. At that time, you will see the beginnings of a new, higher rank for your website. On average-competitive keywords, it normally takes around from six months to achieve top 10 rankings, but this timing can vary depending on the individual website.
Question - How long do I need to continue to add new blog postings?
Answer – It depends on your keywords. If your keywords are average or high-competitive keywords, then you will need to continue to add new blog posts for as long as you want your website to remain highly-ranked. If you stop adding blog posts monthly, then the search engines will assume that you are less popular and they will drop your rankings. If, on the other hand, your keywords have little competition, then you could do a sixth month program and stop for the next six months. Then, you would probably have to add additional blog postings for several months to maintain your high rankings.
